Refuse Information
Refuse is picked up Tuesdays by J.P. Mascaro & Sons.
Garbage is to be placed on the curb the evening before pickup. A garbage sticker is to be placed on each bag of garbage. Bulk items such as furniture and appliances require three (3) $2.00 stickers. Before putting out refrigerators, air conditioners, and freezers, freon must be removed by a technician, who will place an orange sticker on the item. Resident will then place three (3) $2.00 garbage stickers on the item and it will be picked up.
Refuse stickers cost $2 for a 33 gallon bag, and are available at the following locations:

Recycling Information
Recycling is picked up Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday by the Department Of Public Works.Red Bins: newspaper
Green Bins: yard waste
Blue Bins: glass, bottles, cans
Yard Waste: Grass clippings, leaves, shrubs, hedge clippings, and tree limbs will be picked up each week from Spring thru Fall. The County Recycling Center requires there to be a system in place for the collection of these items. Grass clippings and leaves are to be placed in open containers. Other yard waste must be placed in spearate containers. Leaves may also be swept to your curb so the vacuum truck can pick them up.
Rocks, stones, dirt and animal waste are not acceptable forms of yard waste and will not be collected.
Tree limbs can not exceed 3ft long and 3 inches in diameter. They must be bundled together.
Hedge clippings and shrubs should be placed in containers.
A maximum of three containers, not exceeding 30lbs. each will be allowed per collection. Please do not put collection items in plastic bags, they will not be collected.
Collection items must be placed on the curb in their designated containers the evening before the collection date.
Paper pickups will alternate every other week with cans, bottles, and plastic.
